W&M Rowing is back for the fall semester and excited to help out around the community! If you’d like to rent some rowers, please fill out this form.

PUT OUR ROWERS TO WORK FOR YOU!

Rent-A-Rower is an easy way for William & Mary faculty and staff - as well as for Williamsburg-area residents - to find dependable manual labor at a reasonable price, while financially supporting William & Mary Club Rowing. For $25/hour/person, you can rent a rower (or two, or three, or more) to help with jobs around your home. Our team members are all physically fit, hard working, and happy to help with any task.

YOUR RENTAL FEE HELPS WILLIAM & MARY CLUB ROWING AFFORD ITS ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET!

And our athletes are smart. Manual labor is not the only task they’re qualified for. Need someone to help set up your new computer? Our rowers are earning degrees in engineering, computer science, English, the arts, and more. Past jobs include:

  • technology set-up

  • house sitting

Lawn & Garden

  • leaf raking

  • mowing

  • mulching

  • planting

  • splitting logs

  • weeding

Please try to email at least one week in advance of your job request date; this makes it easier for us to ensure we have rowers available to work! If paying via check, they can be made out to William & Mary Club Rowing.
